Blacklist International invincible duo Johnmar "OhmyV33nus" Villaluna and Danerie "Wise" Del Rosario are eyeing the upcoming Sibol qualifiers in the hope of representing the country at the Vietnam SEA Games in May 2022.

OhMyV33nus revealed during a livestream on January 9 that he and Wise, along with their team, will attempt to qualify for the Philippine national MLBB team's next team roster before the V33Wise duo takes a one-season break from the Mobile Legends esports scene.

Meanwhile, two of Blacklist International's professional players, Kiel "Oheb" Soriano and Edward "EDWARD" Dapadap, will be unable to participate due to age restrictions. The team will add two new pro players to round out its roster.

Currently, Blacklist International's roster for the Sibol qualifiers include:
  • Johnmar "OhmyV33nus" Villaluna
  • Danerie "Wise" James Del Rosario
  • Salic "Hadji" Imam

Their coach is still Kristoffer "Bon Chan" Ricaplaza.

According to the stream, Villaluna said that the squad doesn't have enough time for preparation ahead of the qualifiers.

"Medyo kaunti yung time ng preparation namin, but it is what it is. We have to maximize the time that we have lalo na't dalawa yung bago namin, yung gold lane and the exp lane, so we really need to grind," (Translation: We barely have time to prepare, but it is what it is. We have to maximize the time that we have, especially now that we have two new players. One is in the Gold lane while the other is in the EXP lane, so we really need to grind) said OhMyVeenus.

"Starting tomorrow until the Sibol qualifiers, magiging busy kami uli ni Wise, then hopefully makuha natin yung slot sa Sibol. Kasi I really, really want the Sibol," (Translation: Starting tomorrow until the Sibol qualifiers, Wise and I will be busy again, then hopefully, we will get the slot in Sibol. I really want the Sibol) added OhMyVeenus.

OhmyV33nus also shared that he tried to be part of the Sibol roster to represent the country for Mobile Legends in the 2019 SEA Games, as he became part of the national team training pool. However, he failed because he didn't have enough experience and confidence.

"I almost had the chance to represent PH din for the Sibol and parang ang sarap balikan na kasi di ba last time nakapasok rin kami ng training pool ng Sibol pero sobrang kulang pa ako ng experience, ng confidence, ng everything and almost andun na ako para irepresent yung PH kaso marami pa kasi talagang kulang," (Translation: I almost had a chance to represent PH for Sibol and it feels nice to look back because we also qualified for the training pool of Sibol but I really lacked experience, confidence, and everything. I was almost there to represent PH but I had a lot lacking in me), said Villaluna.

With all of his accomplishments and championship titles — MPL PH S7, MPL PH S8, M3 World, the pro player believes the time is right to give the Sibol qualifiers a shot.

"Iniba lang nila yung process for the Sibol but hopefully maachieve natin at makuha natin ang qualifiers," (Translation: They changed the process for the Sibol [qualifiers], but hopefully we can achieve it), added Villaluna.

To recall, the previous MLBB Sibol lineup, represented by the core players of the M2 World Champion roster of Bren Esports, won the Mobile Legends competition at the 2019 SEA Games.

Mobile Legends is among the 8 esports titles included for the medal events of the Hanoi SEA Games. Sibol is the national esports team organized under the Philippine Esports Organization.
