Software benchmarking tool Antutu has released the Global Top 10 Best Performing Flagship and Midrange Phones for December 2021. The December list is relatively the same as the previous month. Snapdragon 888 and 888 Plus processors still dominated the charts.

Nubia Red Magic 6 Pro maintained its top rank in the flagship department for five consecutive months. Meanwhile, Realme GT Master outshined the midrange department for five straight months.

The top 10 best-performing Android smartphones covered in the December 2021 list were calculated from December 1 until December 30, 2021, with average scores computed instead of the highest scores to be more standard, according to Antutu.

Snapdragon 888-powered ZTE's Nubia Red Magic 6 Pro secured the top spot, achieving an average of 860,559 points, the gaming phone's new record high. It features a 6.8-inch AMOLED with a 165Hz screen refresh rate, combined with 16GB of RAM + 256GB internal storage, and comes with a cooling fan for heat dissipation.

The second place was grabbed by Asus ROG Phone 5s Pro, posting an average Antutu score of 838,937 points. Asus ROG Phone 5 ranked third place, with an average of 823,213 points.

They are followed by Realme GT (815,928), iQOO 7 (815,414), Motorola Moto G200 5G (804,693), OnePlus 9 Pro (797,839), Sony Xperia 1 III 5G (795,952), OnePlus 9 (787,905), and Mi 11i (779,736).

Global Top 10 best-performing midrange smartphones for December 2021
