Japanese game publisher Bandai Namco has announced its new free-to-play battle royale game "My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble," based on the famous anime series of the same name. It will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam).

My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble will be launching its first closed beta test (CBT) in Japan from February 2 to 6, 2022, for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 (via backward compatibility).

What is My Hero Academia Ultra Rumble?

MHA: Ultra Rumble is a free-to-play online battle royale game featuring 24 players in each match. Each team consists of three members who compete on the battlefield for survival.

In the battle royale mode, each character has a specified ability or a "Quirk" that influences the character's offense, support, and disruption skills.

Players can strengthen their Quirks by collecting items in the stages. Additionally, they can acquire new abilities by collecting and trading cards with their teammates.

The winner is the team that remains standing at the end of the match.

My Hero Academia Ultra Rumble closed beta test (CBT)

Bandai Namco Entertainment will hold a closed beta test from February 2 to 6, 2022, on PS4 and PS5 (via backward compatibility). The CBT is only limited to 10,000 players.
