Antutu's List of Best Performing Midrange, Flagship Phones for November 2020

Antutu has issued the Global Top 10 Best Performing Midrange and Flagship Phones for November 2020, and Huawei tops both lists. Antutu Benchmark is a well-known benchmark app for Android devices. It is used to test several components of the phone, including UX, CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage, and assigns an overall score.
The phones they included in the Top 10 best-performing Android smartphones list for November 2020 must have at least 1,000 units running Antutu V8 from November 1 to November 30, 2020. The average score was then used for the top 10 list (mid-range and flagship).
Global Top 10 best-performing flagship smartphones for November 2020

1. HUAWEI Mate 40 Pro (8GB+256GB) - Kirin 9000 - 661,059 points
2. ROG Phone 3 (12GB+128GB) - Snapdragon 865 Plus - 632,274 points
3. OPPO Find X2 Pro (12GB+512GB) - Snapdragon 865 - 615,410 points
4. iQOO Neo3 (6GB+128GB) - Snapdragon 865 - 606,347 points
5. Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G (12GB+256GB) - Snapdragon 865 Plus - 603,352 points
6. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G (12GB+256GB) - Snapdragon 865 Plus - 596,482 points

10. Black Shark 3 (8GB+128GB) - Snapdragon 865 - 573,340 points
First, let's start with the flagship segment. In this segment, Huawei Mate 40 Pro with Kirin 9000 leads the top 10 best performing flagship phones list with an average score of 661,059 points. One of the factors that contribute to this result was its processor. Kirin 9000 was the industry's first 5nm SoC integrated with 5G, and it is also the current SoC with the most transistors. It is meant to compete with the new Snapdragon 888 chipset. However, devices equipped with Snapdragon 888 processor will not arrive until early next year, so Huawei Mate 40 Pro is expected to main the top spot for two months.
The Asus ROG Phone 3 powered by Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset is the runner-up with an average Antutu score of 632,274 points, and surprisingly followed by phones with non-Plus Snapdragon 865 CPU, the OPPO Find X2 Pro and the iQOO Neo 3.
The rest of the smartphones on the list is dominated by Qualcomm chipsets. Samsung devices such as the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 2 entered the list, but no unit powered by their in-house Exynos processor has achieved the top list.

10. Poco X3 NFC (8GB+128GB) - Snapdragon 732G - 286,044 points
In the mid-range segment, the Honor 30 with Kirin 985 chipset tops the list with an average score of 405,289 points. It was followed by Huawei Nova 7 scoring 400,491 points, which uses the same configuration as the Honor 30. Snapdragon 765G-powered smartphones took third and fourth places, namely Redmi K30 5G and Mi 10 Lite 5G.
MediaTek, through its Helio G90T, proves once again that it's one of the most reliable chipsets for midrange phones around, bringing the Realme 7 and Redmi Note 8 Pro to grab the sixth and fifth places, respectively. The popular POCO X3 NFC with Snapdragon 732G has managed to secure tenth place.
Compared to last year's Antutu's List of Best Performing Android Phones for November 2019, this year's list has a noticeable higher average score. Some brands don't make it to the list, like Vivo and Vsmart Live.
Just a reminder, benchmark scores from Antutu are just numbers, and actual performance depends on the user's usage and comfort.
